Six years of wedding mornings.

Classy Monae Beauty is Monae — a certified makeup artist and hairstylist who has spent six years getting brides ready. Soft romantic, classic Hollywood glam, modern boho: the look is yours, and the job is to make it read the same in the room and in the photographs.

The products are professional-grade and high-definition, picked for long wear and for sensitive skin — and if you have a holy grail of your own, or an allergy, she will use yours instead.

The studio is mobile. She arrives where you are getting ready, so you can stay in your robe with a mimosa while the room fills up.

Bridal prep checklist

Monae's own checklist — the three moments that decide how the morning runs.

  1. Seven days before

    Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate — your skin will thank you with a natural glow. No new products: skip new skincare, facials and chemical peels this week. Exfoliate gently two to three days out for a smooth canvas. And make sure the bridal party knows their chair time.

  2. The night before

    Wash your hair tonight unless we agreed otherwise, and dry it 100% — not damp, not almost. Give your lips a gentle scrub with sugar or a damp washcloth so colour sits evenly.

  3. Wedding morning

    Wear a button-down, a robe or a wide-neck top — nothing that has to come off over your head. Arrive with a clean, moisturised face. Set up a workspace near a window; natural light is best. And eat: it's a long day, so keep snacks and water within reach for you and the bridesmaids.

Before you book

The things brides ask.

Do I really need a bridal trial?

Not mandatory, but strongly recommended. The trial is the first date: 90 minutes to play with styles, see how the products wear on your skin and make sure the vision matches before the morning that counts.

How long does the wedding morning take?

Bridal hair and makeup takes 90 to 120 minutes. Bridal party and family run about 45 minutes each. You get a day-of schedule so everyone knows exactly when to be in the chair.

Can you get a large bridal party ready in time?

Yes. For a big party, or a tight ready-by time, Monae brings in a trusted second artist so everyone is finished and nobody is rushed.

I have sensitive skin — should I bring my own products?

The kit is professional-grade and high-definition, made for long wear and for sensitive skin. If you have a holy grail product or a known allergy, she is happy to use yours.

Do you travel to me?

Classy Monae Beauty is mobile — the studio comes to you, so you can relax in your robe with a mimosa. Travel fees apply outside DFW; if you are getting ready more than 20 miles out, email first so it can be quoted.
